They gave each other a knowing look before one of the two flipped the coin up in the air. The little piece of metal designed a slightly sloped u-curve before landing in Anita’s cup of black cold coffee that she did not have time to swallow in foresee of the assignment’s deadline she was working on, the one that was supposed to raise her GPA and thus make her keep her scholarship – at least before that big splash.
