Phlegmatic 

It had been a full on Italian lunch – cousins she never heard of and old ladies grabbing her cheeks, cheap but amazing red wine, vegetables coming from the host’s backyard, many courses as the number of guests – and now she felt incredibly swallen and slow,  quickly giving up the idea of finishing the book she carried.
